How does Levitra Orodispersible work?
It is manufactured by the same marketing company that created the Levitra hard tablet, and has the same mode of action even though the two drugs appear dissimilar. This dissolvable tablet works by inhibiting an enzyme in the body called PDE-5, making the blood vessels in the penis more likely to relax so that more blood flows in. As the blood flow to the penis increases and stays there, a firmer erection is achieved.
Because the active ingredient enters the bloodstream much faster than with a hard tablet the end result can be seen in less time.
Dosage information
The 10mg dosage is a milder alternative to Cialis and Viagra, and is considered more practical for hard-to-treat cases where a man’s impotence problem is caused by underlying health issues, including diabetes.
As with all prescription impotence tablets, this medication is not suitable for men taking nitrates, nitroglycerin or certain antiarrhythmics. Complications can also arise if this medication is taken by a user suffering from heart or liver disease, end-stage kidney disease requiring dialysis, severe chest pain, eye problems or a severe liver problem.
How to take Levitra Orodispersible
The main difference between these treatments is the way they are taken. The dissolvable tablet breaks up without water on the tongue, disintegrating instantly into the bloodstream.
Simply dissolve one tablet 10-15 minutes before engaging in intercourse. Because it dissolves on the tongue, you do not need to take a tablet with water or at meal times.
Are there side effects?
Side effects are usually mild to moderate and affect only a small number of users. The most commonly reported side effects include: headache, a stuffy or runny nose, dizziness, flushing or an upset stomach.
