How does Xenical work?

The active ingredient in Xenical tablets is orlistat, which works to reduce the amount of fat that the body absorbs from meals. Xenical can help reduce weight when taken in combination with a healthy diet and effective exercise regime.

Are there any side effects?

As with all prescription medication, this treatment may produce some side effects in a small number of users. These are more likely to occur within the digestive tract, as this is the localised area where orlistat takes effect. You may experience more bowel movements and an oily discharge, especially if you are eating meals that have a high fat content. Further side effects of orlistat can include:
